Here is a typical headshot session that I will do in LODO, which is a settlement in downtown Denver. It is a very popular spot for people to get themselves photographed professionally.
The photoshoot was divided into two different locations. Each location we spent about 30 minutes shooting. The second location was the highly trafficked Millennium Bridge.

Headshots at the Millennium Bridge in LODO, Denver
The Millennium Bridge is a popular spot for people to get photographed. It’s sandwiched in between two tall Davita buildings showcasing a glass exterior, symmetrical bridge beams. The Millennium Bridge location offers great background contrast, and storytelling behind the main subject.
If you were to cross the bridge anywhere near the golden hour, there’s a good chance that there will be people there getting a professional headshot on the Millennium Bridge. This is with good reason, and it’s a location that I constantly try to work for people wanting to get professional portraits in Denver done.

For this particular professional outdoors headshot session in LODO, it lasted about 45 minutes. We arrived approximate 1.5 hours before the sunset. The client got around around 7-10 usable photos. The main purpose of this photoshoot was to get a good Linkedin profile picture that he could update his profile with.
Although 1 is all that is needed for a profile picture, it is always great to have many options to choose from. This is especially true if you are letting other people help rate your professional photos, as sites like http://photofeeler.com do. I highly recommend this website to get the best headshot for your Linkedin profile.

This is a very fun spot to get photographed. Everyone I’ve photographed here has had a blast getting there headshot taken.

Portraits at the 18th Street Bridge, LODO, downtown Denver, Colorado
One of my favorite spots to do professional portraits in LODO is the 18th street bridge. It’s a tight space, but definitely workable, because the bridge fence and buildings in the background can greatly compliment the main subject of the photograph.

During your headshot session in LODO, chances are there’s going to be lots of people, and your comfort is my priority. Natural, relaxed expression is key when capturing great portrait photographs. It’s my job to make sure that all of this falls into place.
