Bluebird Lake (10,978′)

[card id=”2770″]
Hiked to Bluebird Lake in early August. Although the hike is long, there are plenty of scenic stops to make the experience more enjoyable. Copeland Falls, Calypso Cascades, Ouzel Falls, Ouzel Lake and Chickadee Pond are all optional stops en route to Bluebird Lake that offer peaceful nature views.

Past the Ouzel Lake junction the wild flowers started to go crazy. Wildflower fields seemed take over the landscape off the trail.

You will have to descend about 30ft to get to the east shore of Bluebird Lake. Descend another 30 ft down to the outlet of Bluebird Lake for some picturesque views leading into the lake.
