Near the trailhead, check out the observation deck. Looking south will provide amazing views of Estes Cone, Longs Peak and Mount Meeker. Hike to the west end of Lily Lake to get amazing views of Twin Sisters Peaks.

Lily Lake is a popular destination in Rocky Mountain National Park for families, anglers, photographers and hikers. In the colder months when the lake is frozen over, it can be a great lake to break out the ice skates as well.

If you are a photographer this is an amazing spot in Rocky Mountain National Park for sunrise and sunset landscapes.

There is very limited to no cell phone service at this location. I have Verizon and have never been able to get service here.
